CTB Locker virus is a new ransomware, which starts to attach the PC users since the middle of July 2014. This virus is identical with Cryptowall virus, Cryptolocker, Cryptorbit virus, and many more. This is a virus which is so dangerous and is used to encrypt certain data file and then making the infected user to pay for certain amount of money to decrypt their data. In many cases, people who want to restore their data are required to pay for 120 USD. But, sometimes the CTB virus Locker requires 24 USD or requires different amount of money. Off course, this ransom should be paid in the form of Bitcoins. If you ever think that your PC has been infected by CTB Virus Locker, the first thing that you should concern is that your file cannot be connected.
Besides, there will also be a warning message that requires you to pay for a ransom. In this case, if you have been affected, you should install an anti-spyware program because if you do not conduct that step, there will be more files that will be encrypted by this virus. Because there is no beginning warning/notification when this virus attacks your PC, it will be better for you to update your anti-spyware program gradually, and installing Reimage is one of the best solutions.
